We've had a really good time in San Francisco and the weather has been brilliant, its hard for us to believe its Christmas! Since our last journal entry we have been enjoying the sun and the amazing sights of San Francisco. If we have any advice for anyone visiting San Francisco it would be to take a walk over The Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is quite an impressive structure and has a length of 1.7 miles (so maybe don't walk all the way across!!). It also offers some breathtaking views of the bay and along with Alcatraz is probably San Franciscos main attraction. On the Golden Gates 50th birthday in 1987 over 200,000 people crowded onto the roadway causing it to drop 10 feet, there was only a couple of big Yanks on the bridge this time, so it wasn't that scary for us!! We've really enjoyed hanging around the bays waterfront and today we are going to do some christmas shopping for one another around there and Union Square, which is San Francisco's main shopping district. We are going to Las Vegas for Christmas, which should be interesting! Merry Christmas
