Well we're back in LA for New Year and would like to wish everybody a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2007. On new years eve we are going into Santa Monica, where theres a celebration on Santa Monica Pier to see in the new year, which should be good. We arrived safely yesterday on one of the shortest flights we've both ever been on at just 35 minutes and one of the smallest planes we've ever been on, the width of the plane was only 3 seats wide, very cosy!! We're staying in the Venice Beach Cotel again and have been treated really well since we arrived. We asked if we could upgrade our room when we left the first time and the manager was going to sort it out for us, but when we got to the hostel yesterday there wasn't an upgraded room available for that night. The manager said she felt guilty and gave us a free night in another room and will move us to the upgraded room today!! Bonus!! Today we are going into Santa Monica and having a look round the shops then will be coming back into Venice to chill out on the beach! Paradise!!
