well this is officially my last blog from india... i can't believe i leave on friday (its wednesday night here)... well what an experience india has been, all the things i've seen, done, and learned here will definately change my life from here on out... its going to be weird to come back home, i'm going to be honest.... first of all going back in to "normality" will be definately really different from the way i've been living for the past few months... also things will just be different going back and its weird to think about what things will look like... plus i think that most ofyou know that i wanted things to be different and wanted a change so igeuss that this whole experience has been really really good for me in that sense... well anways i try not to think about going home to much becuase i am the type of person who likes to live in the now and do all i can now, so i still have 2 days left here in india so i'll try and make the best... the past week has been a different flavor pretty much every day ranging from working with street kids, to orphanages, to just random other things around india... but it has been really really great and a good way to wrap up my trip here, and i'm continually learning more and more each day about myself and about God... its really really good.... tommorow i get to go back to the ministry for the street kids to and i'm pretty excited about that, plus there is a mcdonalds like right across the street so i'llll probably be getting lunch there (maybe i'll get a "pizza McPuff" an Indian mcdonalds treat) ha since they don't consume beef here i geuss they're trying to come up with new and exciting things to have at mcdonalds... i'm still a firm believer that the mcd's wasn't what got me sick last time and i'll stand by my American roots and support my home grown culinary treats! (plus you get a little sick of curry and rice, every day, lunch and dinner... don't get me wrong its really really good, but after two months... its a little much) on friday we fly out of delhi at like 10 at night so we have the whole day to hang out here, and as minister of fun i have one last duty to plan that day, which with teh help of my father via email should be really cool... but i dunno exactly what it will look like yet, but i think we'll probably go check out the Gandhi museum/house where he was assasinated and they have some of his things and other assorted goods there... my dad says its really cool, so i geuss i'll have to take his word for it! after that we fly to bangkok and spend the day in bangkok, and by my request we're going to go to hard rock for lunch... you gotta go to hard rock in bangkok, i feel like the is a prerequisite... we get in tehre at about 3 in the morning then our flight leaves like at 7 at night, kinda gross... but cool we get to hang out there for a while! i'm excited, apparantely they have some of the best markets there, i think we're going to try and get to a market that is over 36 acres! ha they have deep fried scorpions there, so you know if i find some i'll eat it! ha how cool would that be.... after that we head back to new zealand.... looking back i seriosuly cannot believe how fast time has gone by... its ridiculous i acn't even wrap my head around it! what an amazing experience india has been... its had its challenges of course, but nothing to big! and for me as long as i learn one thing that really affects me, then by all means its worth it! and trust me i learned more than just one thing.... thanks for allthe support and prayers of my time in india! its been a great trip... when i get back to new zealand i'll try and post more pictures! then i'll be home sooner than you know... and just the clear up any confusion, i still have 2 more weeks in New Zealand, so i'll be home on saturday Feb 2nd... at either 5 or 9 depending on what flight i get one... well i hope everything is great back at home... its been really hard to be here in the sun in India (the temp is gorgeous here right now) thinking about all of you back at home, in your coats, and hats, and gloves.... ha i geuss i shoudln't gloat that will be me soon enough! plus the sooner i get back to the state of hockey the better, i'm goign through withdrawal.. hope all is well see you all soon
