Still in Auckland..it will be about 21 days we have spent here in total and i dont recommend it to anyone..you can see the city in a couple of days and people dont usually stay here for longer than that.. but we are waiting for our tour to start on the 11th...

But its quite relaxed here (for a city) so we have been chilling..watching films..and doing a bit of walking and sightseeing.. we went to wiheke island for a day last week which was really nice..a little island about half an hour away on a boat..an island basically made up on vinyards and beaches. We found a really pretty little park quite close to us which is full of arty stuff and fountains.

On the 5th we went to a dance festival-ish thing.. was basically loads of well known djs going sets and this band..went from 7-5am.. we only managed to stay till about 2 ask we were right at the front, so kept getting elbowed and bumped into by crazy drunk dance people.. we could only afford this questionably coloured energy drink (like a cheeper version of red bull) which was a mix of green and orange..only had one as we were at the front there was no chance in moving as we would loose our spot.

the weather is getting a little cloudy now and raining a bit but its not cold or anything so i dont mind.

The day before yesturday we had a day out on the Bus!! we decided we hadnt been doing much so we jumped on a bus to parnell (a really swanky shopping/restaurant street) so we walked up and down it then went to mission bay which is like a little patch of beach and a patch of grass..that was our day of exploring.

in our few days left we are planning on going to this underwater ice world place which apparetly has polar bears and stuff...so im looking forward to that.annnnnnnd i dont know what else..but my post will be much more interesting on my tour after i've done my skydive and stuff..i dont think i can do a bungy...i dont trust it..but we will see.
