on a public holiday, which means we can spend the afternoon together up at Akora as she won't have to work. I have been told that Alana's quote 'crazy Swedish friend' is looking for a companion to Milford Sound - so she sounds perfect and i'm looking forward to making this trip. There are also planned introductions to the wine society to show me round. So a reunion with a friend I met for 5 days 3 years ago and the warm welcome from her friends makes a great start to the backpacker diaries. write soon xxxxxxxxxxxx
