so now i am in christchurch. staying in lincoln about 40 minutes out of christchurch with my friend alana and her mums friend christine who have both been very welcoming. i've had lolly cake and hokie pokie ice cream and been to hanmen - a thermal hot springs place where i also hiked up a mountain (as you do. lol) christchurch is small but nice. saw cathedral square and the christchurch art gallery. everything is quite chilled out. went out for dinner with alanas friends and met her brother. we are going out friday for a bar themed night - were going to all the bars which are themed with a different country e.g the russian vodka bar. alana also took me up to sumner and littleton harbour which were cool
