DAY ONE TUESDAY 21ST NOVEMBER 

Hi everyone, just to let you know we have arrived safely in Hong Kong. It was very emotional leaving you all but can hopefully catch up lots. Flight was alright went quite quick although landing was very dodgy, it was a thunder storm and terrential rain, the plane wanted to go sideways on the runway to begin with, but Claires lucky stones, Maria's st Chris and maybe a little help from the pilot ensured we were ok. Hotel metropark is quite nice but the room is bloody freezing and plumber Paul hasnt made it any better. It doesnt help that im soaked because the weather is awful, lots of rain, have had to buy an umbrella as we have just been to temple street and ladies market, not as dodgy as it sounds, however we are near a road called man fuk road (made Paul laugh anyway). Got a real beauty of a bag and Paul got a snide diesal belt, we are also improving with our bartering skills. Had a very expensive drink in the hotel bar, £4 for a beer, so wont be getting drunk there although Paul liked it because West ham v Chelsea was on. Free wireless internet in the room but msn wont work which is very annoying, want to ring all of you but have to think of the budget. Speak soon love ya loads Laura and Paul.xxxxxxxxxxxx
