We got up this morning and both wanted one of those gorgeous chicken salad sandwiches, even though they were pretty expensive for what they were we went for one. We must have both been starving cos after we'd finished we decided to share another sandwich!! We are leaving Koh Samui tomorrow for Koh Phangnan and we had the ferry and accommodation booked but nothing booked to leave Koh Phangnan so we decided to look for the TAT office in Koh Samui. Typically it was at the other side of the island by the ferry port that we arrived at, we set off and got to the area and found the post office which was next to the TAT office on the map but we couldn't find the TAT place. We parked up and went to the post office to ask where it was and it was behind the post office on a small lane that we wouldn't have found on the scooter!! We went in and said that we wanted to book a ferry from Koh Phangnan and a train to Kuala Lumpur, the guys in the office said they could only give us times and prices etc but they couldn't actually book anything for us. This was annoying!! We went back to the same cafe that we'd been to the day before and got some food and drinks. We headed back to the hotel and I emailed the woman at the TAT office in Bangkok to see if she could help us book a train and ferry. After several emails we managed to book a ferry and a train to Butterworth which is in the north of Malaysia and from there we'd just have to sort out our own way to Kuala Lumpur, Lek (the girl from Bangkok TAT) said that we would just be able to pay our driver tomorrow for the tickets which was good! After we'd sorted this and just chilled out and Skype'd a few people at home. In the evening we got ready and went for tea at this cheap Italian place we'd seen, it was pretty average. The night market was on again so we went and got a cocktail from the same stall as the other night, it was awesome. We walked on with our cocktails to find a live band. We found one in what we assumed was supposed to be an English pub, it was called The Shakespeare and on Sunday's they do a proper Sunday dinner with Yorkshire puddings!!! Anyway the band were really quite cheesy, the singer was female and when they did Stairway to Heaven she was actually down on her knees, it was all very intense! We left after that as it all got a bit much and we went to another bar further up the road which had a band on with 2 female singers, one of which was also the guitarist. They were pretty good and did some good songs and some cheesy songs. It got really busy in there the longer we stayed so we decided to go to the bar near the massage place which we heard before. The band on in there were the best we'd seen, it was a male singer this time, they were really good and a few customers got up and played, they gave Adam the list of songs they could play if he wanted to get up, he didn't... We stayed there for a couple of drinks and then headed home.
