We had breakfast and made a start on cleaning out the camper, we disagreed on the best way to do stuff so in the end Adam went for a walk and I read my book for a while. I packed all my bags up and made myself some lunch. When Adam came back he had found a bar that had a pool competition on tonight that he wanted to go to. Adam got all his bags packed too and we showered and decided to treat ourselves to tea out for our last night. We went to a Mexican restaurant called the Burrito Brothers, it was a lot busier than we expected it to be!! Adam thought the food was average but I thought mine was nice, we shared some nachos to start which were good but far too big that we had to leave some so that we could actually eat out mains! I had chicken quesadilla and Adam had chicken enchiladas. When we'd eaten we headed to the pub for the pool competition, we just got there in time as there was only one space left! We had a drink and watched some of the guys playing pool, there was an older guy and he was ridiculous, we joked that Adam would probably end up playing him!! After the comp started and a few rounds had gone by, the competition wasn't looking that impressive, people were steaming and stumbling around, wandering off in between shots, it was pretty poorly run but eventually Adam was up and low and behold, who was he playing but that pool shark! Adam put up a good game and it was down to the last ball but he got beat, Adam hates losing too so he wasn't best pleased! We got talking to a guy in the bar who was from Wellington but was working down in Christchurch fitting plaster boards as there was so much work down here due to the earthquake! He was a nice guy if not a little crazy!! We decided to head back to the camper and see if we could get a movie from blockbuster on the way home. The girl said we couldn't rent one but we could buy one, we bought 'How Do You Know', a comedy with Reece Witherspoon in, Adam got some popcorn and we got some chocolate and headed back to the camper, the film was pretty funny actually! Sad it was our last night in New Zealand as have absolutely loved it, such a beautiful country. Definitely want to come back!
