well we left a rather wet hue on a bus heading for hoi an ... we were expecting to spend 8 hours on a bus but it ended up being about 4, 1 of which was spent waiting and having a break. When we arrived the weather was loverlyyyy its really hot and sunny and nice. The hotel was a nice surprise too, spending 5 quid a night each and get a pool, very big en suite with biiiiig beds and tv :D yay chilled out by the pool for a bit then explored the town, it is beautiful...

well....what a week it's been! adventures a plenty! Ha Long Bay was simply gorgeous....we hopped, skipped and jumped off a junk boat...eeek! Laura was a bit of a chicken but did it eventually....Jen manned up to the task like a true bloke! HA! We did a spot of kayaking to a beautiful lagoon....we were somehow almost the best of out the group - we were like pros....no technique, but loads of style! Visited some pretty cool caves as well...totally amazing experienc...

Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo Well we are in Hanoi :) but leaving tomorrow for a trip to halong bay. The flights were really nice and only delayed a little bit, so far we have managed to pack into 2 days what would normally be done in a week. The traffic here is mental, but we have become pros at crossing the road (nearly) ! However have not taken up any of these mad moped drivers that seem to think that we will both be able to fit on the back of the tiny litt...
