well....what a week it's been! adventures a plenty! Ha Long Bay was simply gorgeous....we hopped, skipped and jumped off a junk boat...eeek! Laura was a bit of a chicken but did it eventually....Jen manned up to the task like a true bloke! HA! We did a spot of kayaking to a beautiful lagoon....we were somehow almost the best of out the group - we were like pros....no technique, but loads of style! Visited some pretty cool caves as well...totally amazing experience spending a night and two days sailing around thousands of islands!

Spent our last night in Hanoi at the backpackers' hostel - so much fun....met some great people, then took the sleeper train down to Hue. Luckily we were the only 2 in our 4 birth cabin WHOOP!

Hue is...well....WET! It's been raining since we arrived - but that didn't stop us because we have sexy PONCHOS! we swept our way through the 6 inch deep water on the streets and had loads of fun! Saw the Citidel and then waded our way back to the hostel and ventured out for some local street food! We really hope we didn't eat dog, but who knows!!! It was OK, think we're adapting nicely to the Vietnamese way.

Today we went on the DMZ tour taking us to loads of historical places towards the laos border etc was really interesting. atm chilling with free beer preparing for the bus tomorrow .... 8 hours to do hardly any distance hmmmmmm ah well :) we have snacks
