We're following your blogs in New Zealand with great interest. Glad to see you are enjoying the action packed life as world wanderers and are still in good health after surviving being snowed in at Queens Town.
Your visit to the Franz Joseph glacier remind me of going on Mount Cook glacier in 1977 while on a Lions Tour. We also enjoyed a trip to the Maori village which you mention in your North Island blog.
Love and best wishes of the rest of the tour.

Hi Little Bro Chris & Little Bro Price
I have finally managed to get the computer to log on to your blog so very slowly catching up with what you have been up too. Chris honey do you have be so dramtic about everything (WOADS is coming out in you more and more), are you ever going to have a time when nothing of any alarming nature actully happens. Seriously wow what an amazing time you guys are having and then you have to come back to reality in Sussex ha ha ha!!!!
Life is going on at a very wet pace here - however had done major re-decoration of the house and have to live with two boys!!!! Other than that life is peachy.
Try not to spend too much money - I am trying to keep an eye on the parents but have not a great job so far, very sorry about the MG they bought it without asking. I am expecting a great present for my Birthday (which you forgot) but as my computer has not been working I will forgive you ..... just.
Keep safe in the lovely weather you are having - remember slip on a t-shirt, slop on the sun cream and slap on a cap (though by the sounds of it that might not be very helpful.)
Take Care and miss you LOADS little bro.
Speak to you soon (now I know this works) Lots of love

Hi Chris and James - don't expect better weather here in Sydney - it's yet to stop raining and the heating is on full blast!! Looking forward to seeing you both on Wednesday; will check your flight and hopefully, we can come and meet you.
As your dear parents have told you - really hope you don't mind but we have a dinner on the night you arrive. I'm so sorry about this but it is only local so won't be a late one at all - our DVD library is fairly large so you won't be at a loss for entertainment - plus there are two children and two dogs so your evening will fly by!!!
Ring me if you have any problems but all being well, I will meet you at the airport on Wednesday afternoon. Safe travels.
By the way, if you are interested in doing a bridge climb, let me know so I can book you in. It is really popular so maybe fully booked already but is an incredible thing to do if you don't mind heights. I did it and hated it but I hate heights!! Let me know.
See you Wednesday.

Just seen your last blog re adverse weather conditions. As I wasn't aware that people were dying, I wasn't worried. Now you have told me that people are, perhaps I should display a little more concern, although I think you are both fairly well insured and we did take out the additional repatriation of body insurance, so I'm sure you'll be fine.
We too have had lots of rain here. Infact not only have we had the electric blanket on since about 4pm this afternoon, the fire has been going all evening. Hmmm....remind me again, aren't we just celebrating the summer solstice?!??!?!?! Glastonbury is the usual sea of mud; Festival of Speed was a complete washout (although we did manage to catch the Red Arrows display whilst standing in the PCWorld carpark - all eight of them! Is this some sort of RAF economy measure? Somehow the 'diamond nine' formation just isn't the same....! )
Got very wet moving from motorhome to motorhome down in Portsmouth this afternoon, although we still haven't put an order in ....yet.
Hope the finger has recovered / dropped off (delete as applicable - either way the problem is sorted).
Look forward to hearing from you when you reach Sydney - I think you're babysitting on Weds night as Linus and SBJ have some dinner/premiere/chi chi dinner party /whatever to attend.
Speak soon - keep safe.
Lyl - miss you bigs

So J not much sympathy all round - still I dare say there is a little envy there somewhere!!!! Weather not great here either it is raining again. It's a bit of a turnaround as C went to the beach on Tuesday and got his feet burnt.Still Chris isn't worrying about the weather as he's busy with exams and then diving at the weekend down towards Portsmouth.I am getting concerned that money is being mentioned more frequently I can't help feeling our turn to provide is just around the corner!!! Lots of Love to you both

Cant believe you can ski and have lovely weather on the same island. We have had various degrees of rain here, from light showers to monsoons!!. But then we have started to build the extension on the front of the house. Now about that finger, I think if you had inappropriate gloves you could have had a bit of frost bite, with the numbness as well but not enough to lose a finger. Same instructions as the cold, no alcohol!!![I think chris s parents and we are related, no sympathy for illnessess!!!] Is that the last of the skiiing? it might be worth you bying some proper gloves. Anyway you will be flying to oz soon. Did your head feel as if it was going to explode when you did the jump? Cant wait to see the dvd. Keep the blogs coming xxxxx. P.s are you impressed with the kissess? Beth told me how!!!1

I don't know, if it's not one of you wanting cash injections it's the other wanting remote medical diagnosis!! Has your finger turned black and fallen off? No? Then there is a fair chance you'll live. Chris will tell you how much sympathy you get in our house - honorary sons are included in the overall approach!! You've just thrown yourselves off a 134m platform for heaven's sake!!!!!!!!! And I haven't seen the video yet but Dad/Tim watched a YouTube entry while he was on the phone to me as I was looking at the pictures and he went very quiet. (My government pc doesn't support flash media and moving pictures...yet).
Sounds as if you are having a brilliant time. Keep on enjoying yourself and keep on staying well. Jamie was green at the thought of you getting some skiing in, although now he's driving round Oxford in my other MG he's feeling slightly less hard done by.
Linus is back in Oz (flew in Sunday morning) and we are seeing SBJ for an executive breakfast on Friday (he flew out on Sunday afternoon). He's down with Nick Park today and back in Oz at the weekend so just a flying visit. They are really looking forward to seeing you both - I think you are on puppy training as well as babysitting duties.
Speak to you soon. Lyl and big hugs.

PS Release date for next 007 is 07 Nov 08.
