Aloha Â
Last day in Hawaii (thanks to us not looking at the flights properly till dinner two nights ago, that was a close one)Â I would just like to issue a personal thanks to the parents for their quick panic prevention and sorting that situation out.......
The rematch for the bouls was won by price, notice the celebatory juggling photo. Have found an amazing restaurant called the Cheeseburger factory which leaves you full after one course, so we of course have been their twice in a row. After the tour of the islands we decided that Waikiki could not hold us again so made our way over to Pearl Harbour on the local bus. This was a mission. The bus took about an hour and a half to get there (for 2 dollars....) which brought us to the USS Arizona memorial (one of the battleships to be sunk during the Pearl Harbour attack on the 7th December at 7.45 in the morning, yeah we listened) The USS Arizona was free as well which made it soooo much better. The tour consisted of a quite factual museum (you know they actually spotted the first wave of attack from the japenese on an early radar system but thought it was their bombers coming back from California) A video that showed the before and after of the attack and then a boatride over to the memorial above Arizona. Â
After Pearl Harbour we caught the bus back again (2 hours) and then found some dinner at the cheeseburger factory before chilling with our roommates. Today we are sitting on the beach and then flying at about 12.30 in the evening, officially Price's birthday. Due to the time difference his birthday is about 3 hours long so should be a good celebration.
Hope you're all well! Speak in Fiji
