Today is my last full day in Toronto and I've had a fantastic time this week. Got a city pass which has given me 6 attractions to get my bum out of bed for and to go and see for $11 each. This included Toronto Zoo - It's got lots of animals, you know the kind, the Science Museum - so much fun, felt like a kid again although we didn't stay long enough, the Natural History Museum - enjoyed it very much but Oxford's is better, Casa Loma - a castle and museum which was ok, building was impressive to look at but the tour was a bit boring and finally the CN Tower and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Have been saving the best until last so am going up the CN Tower and to the Hockey Hall of Fame later on today.
Met some funny American's at our hostel (Jeff, Ellis and Evan) and went drinking with them on Tuesday night. It was a very spare of the moment type of thing but so much fun.
Then Lili and I met another girls called Rachel on thurs and I went for an amazing Japanese/Korean meal with her. We then went out and met some more Americans - they love hoping over the border to get served here on Spring Break!!!
Lili left yesterday so I was a little apprehensive again about being alone. However the hostel threw a BBQ for all the guests and I ended up meeting lots of new people. I was originally going to go out on my own to a 'live bands' bar some random Candadian recommended, however by the time we'd finished at the BBQ I'd managed to round up about 12 people to come along with me! We had a good chilled night chatting away.
Have really enjoyed staying at the hostel and being in Toronto however can not wait to see Kay tomorrow after 8 months of being apart.
Next stop B.C...
