Woooh! We are back in Paris! Courtney and I enjoyed Amsterdam ALOT (not too much for those of you who might worry or simply feel jealous), but we are glad to be back to Paris tonight. We did get some great pics of the city, and I will post in just a few days. I plan to put up the rest of Paris and Amsterdam in a couple of albums really soon!

We did take the high-speed bullet trains to and from Amsterdam. They were really nice, and we saw many of the sights in between Paris and Amsterdam. Every train we have ridden on though (3 so far) has run at least 1/2 an hour late, but hopefully that trend won't continue. We will be leaving tomorrow night on an overnite train to Rome. We are so excited about this portion of our trip!

Tomorrow we will be heading out to Montmarte, the Sacre Coeur, and the famous Parisian cemetery where Jim Morrison and many other famous Frenchmen are buried. We are also going to go to the Holocaust Memorial if time allows. It is sad that this is our last nite in Paris, but at least we are going out in style. We have a PRIVATE room!!! After sharing with 10 other people, and most of them smelly, drunk guys, we are very happy to be sleeping in a room without anyone but ourselves.

Hope everyone is doing well back in the states. It almost felt like we were home in Amsterdam since everyone spoke English. We did not have success mastering the Dutch language - we butchered it everytime!! So we stuck to English and avoided embarrassing ourselves anymore than necessary.
