Ciao from Rome! Sorry it's been a while, computer access for long periods of time at this hostel has been difficult. Rome is very cool! We have seen all the sights. Our first day, we walked through Piazza Navona and went to the Pantheon. We saw the Trevi Fountain at night (all lit up!) and sat on the Spanish Steps. I was so sad that we only had one day there! We decided spontaneously to go to Verona yesterday instead of Padua, and since we hadn't even booked a hostel, we were able to go where the wind took us! Yesterday we were at a castle in the Alps, today we're walking along a canal in Venice!!! Incredible!! We arrived this morning...very early... and i was so happy to get off the train! I did NOT sleep very well, as the "beds" resemble something more like a plank of vey hard wood... Walking out of the train station was such a great feeling! The old Italian buildings (as seen in this picture) right on the waterways... so amazing! So much more of what i thoug...

Our last day in Munich! We took a day trip a couple hours outside of the city to Fussen to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. It's the castle in this picture! I didn't take this exact one but got one exactly like it from a bridge that we hiked up to! The castle is GORGEOUS!!!
