A stunning summers day, we tracked down a hidden cove on Lac Vouglans using Natalie's wild swimming book. Parking on a ordinary looking side road we cycled down a steep mountain path to be greeted by a picture perfect fishing cove. Clear water, steep forested cliffs it was breathtaking. We began our journey with a car trip down to Kent. Our very good friends Sean and Kate live in Hawkinge, which is a mere 10 minutes from the tunnel terminal.
