This is my last blog from Florence! Tonight I'll be writing out Munich, Germany.
We had a very chilled, peaceful last night here. We did dinner at a little wine bar and sandwich/shop shop then went to a rooftop bar and restaurant for wine. It was about 9:00 and just getting dark and Florence started to sparkle. I don't feel so bad about not getting to climb The Duomo now. From the rooftop we had the second best view of the city plus wine :) Looking at The Duomo at night from somewhere other than the ground made me realize how huge it actually is. It looks authoritative and majestic breaking Florence's skyline. Last night, all lit up, it reminded me of a 3D puzzle.
A few things I've forgotten to mention about Italy:
I'm pretty positive you don't have to have a prescription to buy meds from the 'farmacia.' You just go in and tell them what you need....
The Indian (I think they're Indian but I'm not really sure) girls that push their way through crowds fake crying and begging for money for "their baby." First of all, where's the baby? Second of all, all the pictures they try to show you of the alleged baby look just like the picture the other begging Indian girl around the corner tried to show. Sometimes it actually offends me that people think I would be that gullible.
Now its off to chaos..... the Italian airport.
