Hey!!!

Sorry we haven't been on in a while.

So... we went on the Whitsundays trip and it was the best day trip yet!! We sailed across to Whitehaven bay, (as you can see in the photo... its beautiful), once we got to the bay we went on a walk to a lookout to see the breath taking views.. then went down to Betty's Beach for 2 hours. The sand around Whitehaven is the whitest sand we had ever seen, it is well known for people using the sand to clean their jewellery!! Unfortunatly.. I was being sensible by leaving all my jewellery back at the hostel so didn't get to try it out!! After we got back on the boat we were given an amazing lunch and then sailed on to Mantaray Bay where we did another dive, and some snorkling. The boat goes to the same spot every day, so the fish seem to know the boat as they always feed them, so the fish we saw were amazing!! We also met a really nice young couple on the boat who were on their honeymoon and that night we met up with them and went to a mexican place and had a really good night.

Two days later we got back on the bus and travelled a 10hour journey to Kroombit cattle station where we were staying the night. I can't really put into words what it was like!! haha!! We arrived there and had dinner, then we were ushered into a room to put the most random fancy dress on. After that we were taught how to use a whip, played limbo and then went on this mechanical bull. It was the wierdest place ever. In the morning we were up and out at stupid oclock... 6am. After breakfast we were taught how to lasoo... well they tried to teach me but i couldnt do it!! Then we played goat rodeo. By this I mean we had to chase goats around... pick them up by their legs... and then brand them. If that wasnt enough for 8am in the morning, we then all had to join hands in a circle and have 13000 volts passed through our body, with a cattle prod, meant for cows and bulls. I think I can safely say both craig and I will never be a cowboy or cow girl!!

After a long journey from the Cattle Station we arrived in Rainbow Beach last night. Today we were meant to be going on a day trip to Fraiser Island... but they forgot about us somehow, so we are going tomorrow!!!
