Well I can't compete with a tree that looks like Elvis/Jesus but I am in Ho Chi Minh City. Today got of to a rocky start. Last night I had a stomache bug and was not well at all. Turns out I have a sensitive stomache. I had to spend the 8 hour bus journey lying on the back seats but I've had some rest and I'm feeling alot better. The last couple of days have been amazing. Me and a couple of the other girls went trekking in Cambodia's Ream National Park. First of all we took a little wooden motor boat for an hour round the coast where we then trekked through the jungle. Yes I went hiking through a remote jungle. It was hard going but eventually we came to a little beach where we relaxed. We ofcourse then had to trek back with sand in our shoes but when we got back to the boat we had lunch. Which was Barracuda. It tastes surprisingly nice. After that we got the boat back to the dock but not after it got stuck and we all had to get out a push. There is something really weird about pushing a boat but it was really funny.
Yesterday we crossed the boarder into Vietnam. Once we got to our hotel (I would tell you the name of the city but I can't remember) we took a boat trip on the Mekong river where we saw all the houses floating on the river. Everyone is so friendly so when you pass they always wave. So this brings me up to the point where I got ill. Tomorrow night is our first sleeper train so that will definately be an experience, Seemingly it's not too bad.
I will up date again soon but til then lots of love and hugs. Kirsty xxx
