Well we have went full circle and how we are back in Bangkok. But I'll rewind a little and go back to Luang Prabang. We had an early start as we had to take a boat for 8 hours up the Mekong river. The boat was basic but cool. We arrived in Pak Beng just in time for their electricity coming on (they only get electricity from 6-10 morning and night) so we went for tea and headed to bed. Just a quick little update. Last night we got our second sleeper train. I was horrible. I could of handled the tiny cabin, the thin dirty matress, the stained sheets but the army of bugs that would just not surrender had us all on edge. It ended up with 9 of us crammed into the one cabin for 7 hours. It was so bad it was funny. In Hoi An for the next 2 days. It is really beautiful. The architeture is very Asian and rustic.
