Right I can't really remember where I last left off but I will try. Halong Bay was beautiful, 2000 islands clustered together in the sea is pretty amazing. We took this big wooden boat around the islands then stopped and went in the caves. Then we went on to Hanoi which we didn't like so much. It was crazy busy and nois. Crossing the roads was a nightmare. It was Nicola's birthday in Hanoi so we went out for a really good meal and then tried to find some night life but didn't get very far. It was really weird, there was tones of people on the streets but they weren't going anywhere.
The 10 hour bus trip into Laos was great fun :-/ It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for the wynding roads up a mountain. But we made it to Lac Sao. It was this tiny village that we stopped in for the night. Their little English School invited us to speak to the kids which was cool. They were all really suprised that I was 22 and not married. The teacher said i was far to beautiful not to be married (she will always be in my heart lol). We then travelled another 3 hours to Vientiane which is the capital. Visited the Buddha park which had loads of weird statues. Found a shop that sold british products so we went mental for quality shampoo.
It is official, Vang Vieng is the new party capital of the world! Totally loved it. Tones of mental people. Everyone was just having a laugh and didn't care about anything. The next day we went Tubing. Let me explain, the idea is you float down the river in a rubber tube passing loads of bars. You put up your hands and the staff throw you a rope and pull you in. It was excellent but parts of the river were really shallow so my legs and bruised and cut to hell!
Now we are in Luang Prabang. Its really beautiful here, lots of French colonial architecture.
Im running out of steam and the sunshine is calling me so I will type again later.
Big Love Kirs x
