Kim's Travels
This morning we went to Noosa for a bit which I absolutely loved. Its a really chilled out surf town and quite happening. The weather was gorgeous too so we had an oppertunity to sunbathe for once! Tom and Naomi braved the water while Alex, Paul and I watched the world go by! Some surfer dudes told them not to go in the sea beyong Noosa because its full of killer jelly fish and tiger sharks.... ARGH. Anotherk leg on the bus lead to a stop off at Rainbow Beach - it sounds like such a cool place, "Rainbow Beach" but its incredibly quiet and not a lot going on at all. Very pretty though. We were taught how to use the didgereedoo (sp?!) which is surprisingly hard, with the circular breathing etc... The aboriginees don't actually allow women to use/play it but we had a go anyway. You had to blow your lips like a horse - very amusing. Then we were taught how to use a boomerang which was also kinda hard! I managed to throw mine about 2 feet. Anyway we got back on the bus and completed our journey to Hervey Bay. We stayed in Palace which was alright as we had our own little self contained flat-type-thing. We sorted ourselves out for Fraser Island and alleed a la bed.
