Hey!
I've just uploaded some amazing photos of Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Check out the amazing panoramics at the end.
Thursday was spent driving a further 230miles to the magnificent Grand Canyon. We drove through Sedona which is Red Rock country as you can see from the photos and had a pretty cool wee cowboy town with all the original bars etc. Due to the fact its winter all the lodges are shut so we are staying in a nice hotel which costs a bomb but unfortunately have no other choice. That night we went to the IMAX cinema in the National Geographic Information Centre to watch the 'The History of the Gran Canyon'-which made you feel you were actually in a helicopter flying through the Canyon.
Today when we woke up it was raining and freezing!!! When we arrived in the Grand Canyon it was completely misty and couldn't see a couple of metres in front of us! But within half an hour the mist had cleared-as you can see from the photos. We got the free shuttle around the different lookout points finishing just as the hail started! Lucky ducks!
So tomorrow we make the 5.5 hours journey to Vegas! Enjoy the photos!
