The most important night of my china career? Well that would have to be KTV and in Xining we got down to business. We met in the freezing cold night, 6 other foreigners all teachers and headed off to the big K. Not a moment was wasted. We almost ran straight to the snacks. It worked out at 30Yuan each and for me that was on bottle of Jack and Coke. Yes. I was the happiest I had been in 3 months Jack Daniels had finally followed me to china, I don't think I need to mention that that bottle lasted about 30 seconds and we soon turned to beer. Alcohol aside KTV is not all about drinking no, it's about much more; creating beautiful music, properly representing your country and forging long lasting friendships. Well that and belting out 'My Heart Will Go On' as loud as you possibly can (which is pretty loud) and not many things can match my rendition on 'Gangnam Style'. The other ExPats where pretty awesome but, I am really too lazy to write about these things.
