Wow…Wow… The last couple of days have been amazing. I uploaded all the pictures from the lovely Kinsale and you can see what I am talking about. The first day in Kinsale I walked along the coastline and back into town and then went to the top of a hill overlooking the city. There was this empty farmers field that had an amazing view of the town and I found a nice chunk of land and sunbathed for about an hour, it was amazing. Then the next day…Wednesday I walked about 4 miles to this fort that was an even better walk along the coastline. Along the way I walked through this amazing forest with ferns everywhere, amazing. The walk was fantastic it had amazing views of the harbor and the sea.
Yesterday, I took the bus to Galway and things just keep on getting better. I am staying with thus far my favorite surfer Colin, a real Irishman. He showed me all around Galway and this city is just as amazing as Kinsale I could live in either one for years and be plenty happy. We came back to the house and talked all about Ireland history and it was loads of information I never new about England/ UK and the Irish fighting and the north and south of Ireland battling, great stuff. Then in the evening we went out looking for some birds and the nightlife here is different from back home. The best part of the night was walking into a couple of pubs and listening to this amazing traditional Irish music. The band just setup on some tables and starts to jam its all acoustic there were two bands playing one up and one downstairs. Apparently in the olden days bands would travel around Ireland and play music together just like they do today. They would first play their own music then play together favorite Irish tunes. This is still what happens today and what we saw last night two bands just jamming, it was amazing. Great music! Ooh and one of the bars we went to they only spoke Irish and that was pretty funny.
Today I am off to stay with Vale for fri and sat on some island off of Galway then back with Colin for Sun and Mon.
"It's savage around here big time," this means cool and really cool.

Mom You're "savage"! I talked to one of the RSF Princesses about your trip and she said Ireland was her favorite. It's good to hear that you have your surfing planned out for awhile. How wonderful that all these people are willing to open their homes to you. The pictures are savage! I love you. Stay safe. Mom
