What a great relaxing time I had in the French Riviera. I sure needed it after a month and some change of backpacking… : ) I went to Monaco, and saw the Casino of Monte Carlo and that was sweet, I donated some euros to their gaming operation, I tanned on the beach, swam in their lovely bay, and saw tons of luxury sedans. Then I went to Nice, and stayed in Antibes… Monaco was the best. I also spent an entire day at the beach in Antibes and wow was it nice… a good 6 hours on the beach left me well roasted. There is a side note to mention about these beaches here, there are topless women walking around carefree… unfortunately most are older women… but not in Monaco. I thought that was interesting. The men here are well behaved and only glance now and then, but I think it is just accepted and is no big deal… what's wrong with America? Why cant we do that? Its just skin.
Anyways, I am back in Paris now gonna be surfing with Abdel till I leave on the 25th for Belgium. I hit up the Louvre today and will again tomorrow (its just so massive you need like a week, saw Mona right away she is cool) then Le Tour De France comes to town.
OK, Q&A next blog low on time.

Mom What an incredible journey you are on. To have visited Normandy and experienced all those emotions and then on to the French Riviera for R & R, astounding! I would like to know your thoughts on visiting all these diverse places in such a short time. Are you taking notes so you can add them to the pictures later or do you trust your memory to hold all of this? Looking forward to your next blog and pictures. I love you. Stay safe. Mom
