Well another packed day.
Out visiting sights this morning including a very interesting way covered in paintings (sorry can't give names as I don't have guide book with me at the moment) also visited a stupa and an interesting local market to see all the fruit, vegetables and every bit of animals and fish you could imagine being sold.
After all the visiting treat myself txo a coffee and a mango crumble cake.
Afternoon was fun as we visited a local waterfall and I decided to leave the group and climb to the top. 30 mins later I reached the summit to find it was a swamp with no real paths. Stumbled around for 15 mins then came across a way down on some rickety steps with fantastic views of the waterfall. But that path stopped half way down so I had to climb to the top again! Stumble through the swamp again! Follow dead end a number of times, wade through streams and mud, but eventually found the way down with 15mins before I had to meet the group.
I made it back only 5 mins late but soaking in sweat and covered in mud to my knees. Sylvie was less than impressed and sent me straight to the shower by the pool before I was allowed back in the room when we got back!
Have had a beer and watched the sunset so relaxed again now but my knees are still a bit wobbly, may need a whiskey later!
