Our last night in Maui and what a sunset it was. Woke up this morning late as I set the clock for pm instead of am. And proof that Joy can get going in a hurry. Made it to Pacific Whale Foundation in plenty of time. Loaded up with a full boat 79 people and took off. About 300 yards from the dock we encountered our first pod of whales shut the engine down and just drifted with the same pod for two hours. Ended up about a mile from shore the males we were told were competing for a female who was swimming upside down waving her fins in the air.Somehow we can away from that with hardly any good pictures as digital cameras have that lag time and you end up missing the great shots.
Welll the sun was high and bellies growling as we skipped breakfast so we walked on down stopping at everyother store to have a look til we made it to "Cheesebuger in Paradise" my favorite resturant in these parts, not so much for the bugers than the view and Jimmy Buffet playing in the back ground. Had a another look at the end of town bought some shirts and headed back to the hotel for some beach time as time grows short on this vacation. Tomorrow we leave for our final stop and it is only for a 30 layover. So gotta run. Mahalo!
