I feel like I start every blog out saying that we went to class, but that's literally because that is how we start every day Monday -Thursday. During our two our break from classes, Alix and I did book our final flight for la semana santa (aka spring break). Hello Paris, Florence, Venice, and Rome! It's getting closer and I'm getting more excited. This will be a fun one I'm sure.
Alice and I decided to take a walk around Cáceres for some exercise. The weather was beautiful and so is the city. I figured that since I've been taking pictures of every city I've traveled to, I better take some of Cáceres. The picture for this blog is in front of our apartment building. The graffiti is deceiving because the minute you step in the door, the floor, walls, and ceilings are covered in marble, nbd. We walked and found a health food store with food for very good prices.
We had an intercambio at 8pm so we went to the Gran Café. An intercambio is when you meet up with someone who wants to learn English, so you just talk to them so they can practice speaking. His name is Fran and he is 27 year old Vet student. He claims that his English isn't very good, but Alice and I are convinced he is fluent. We are going to meet up again and speak Spanish with him so he can help us out. He also paid for our drinks, which apparently is custom in Spain.
Overall, we had a good day, and found out we will be going to Toledo this weekend! Yay! Besos, ciao!
