So the last few days have been awful! Stuck here with nothing to as the Vietnam embassy has decided to close for a holiday?! We went on an average boat trip and few nice restaurants and backpacker bars but really can't wait to leave, out of all the places we've been I don't think there would be a worse place to be stuck! On of the days the hotel flooded leaving all our clothing soaking and meaning we had to wade threw knee-deep water to leave the hotel, we also had a broken down tuk tuk that meant most of the restaurants were closed by the time we finally arrived, then the rest of the time we've been sitting in the hotel lobby or walking aimlessly around the streets! Tonight however we decided to do something different just to stop oursves dying of boredom ! We went to a place called dine in the dark which is a restaurant run by blind people where u have a surprise 3 course meal in complete darkness! It was very strange, the first thing I noticed is you could really smell the food as it came out, also conversation is a lot more awkward! Silences are just weird and at the end I played a trick on Elliot because he said I could t find my way out of here without the guide, so I pushed my chair back and said I was leaving, he sat in the darkness and couldn't work out if I was joking or not for a good minute before I couldn't hold my laughter in any more! We tried to guess what we were eating and got it completely wrong! I even ate pesto!!! Which I despise, and chicken which we were sure was beef! The only thing we got right was the chocolate cake! A very very weird experience which made us very very thankful we could see when we left! Finally have out visas and it's up for a lovely early morning bus rude tomorrow!
