Day15 - Wanaka After spending two days in Franz Josef we headed onto Wanaka, we stopped off at a few places where we could see Mount Cook the highest mountain in New Zealand, and it was stunning and the mirrored lake looked spectacular with MT cook towing over the top. Day13 - Franz Josef Before leaving Lake Mahinapua I took a stroll down the lake and then headed off to our next destination. Spent two days at Franz Josef, the first night a few of us got together and did our washing as it was cheaper that way. The second day I went and did the heli-tour over Franz Josef Glacier. Day12 - Lake MahinapuaAnother early start, was on the bus by 8.30am when I realised I hadn't checked out and run off the bus to check out, lack of sleep is what I blame it on…:D We stopped in Punakaiki and Greymouth where we bought fancy dress costumes for that night, the theme was anything beginning with P, so I decided to go as a pole dancer. Day 11 - Westport Before leaving Kaiteriteri we went for a walk on the beach and found hundreds of mussels attached to rocks. We went for nosy up to Shania Twain's house but no one seemed to be home and then headed back to the bus onto our next destination.
