Day16 - Queenstown
We didn't have an early start but before we left we went to a puzzle place in Wanaka and spent a few hours in the different rooms and the maze, but the maze bored us so after about an hour we headed into the rooms.
Was a great start to the morning , even though one room did make me feel like I had a hangover.
We then drove to queenstown first thing was watching a lot of the group doing Bungys on the very first AJ Hackett bungy, I would have but was getting low on money by this point.
Then drove into town and most of us split from here as most stayed in Nomads but as I had a prepaid base jumping card I stayed at Base.
Ended up staying in Queenstown for 5 nights and every night except one we were all out till early hours of the morning.
Met up with April and Martin from back home, we went Ice skating, never thought it would be that hard, took the gondola to the top and saw some fantastic views of Queenstown.
I even got to try the Fergburger which is very famous in Queenstown it is the oldest burger bar place and they do the most amazing burgers, I tried the Ferg which is beef and then another day tried the 'Little Lamby' which was also good.
They are worth the money as they are huge, considering im quite petite I am quite surprised with myself that I finished the burgers….
I also bought myself an All blacks rugby shirt which does look the nuts even if it did cost a lot, was worth it.
