Day12 - Lake Mahinapua
Another early start, was on the bus by 8.30am when I realised I hadn't checked out and run off the bus to check out, lack of sleep is what I blame it on…:D
We stopped in Punakaiki and Greymouth where we bought fancy dress costumes for that night, the theme was anything beginning with P, so I decided to go as a pole dancer.

We stayed in cabins at Lake Mahinapua, it was run by a 80 old man , very sweet, wasn't the best place I have stayed in also didn't help that it poured with rain for most of the night.

For $32 (£17) we had accommodation and a steak dinner, the steaks were massive and was a good feed.
Then we all got ready for the fancy dress party, was a funny night.

Also this is the place to buy greenstone as this is where they come from, a very scared stone according to the Maori's.
