Day 10 wellington to Picton>Nelson>Kaiteriteri An early morning had to be on the 8.15am ferry to the south island, was a three hour journey across and was a beautiful journey. Day 9 left river valley to Wellington, stopped at Tahape and Bulls. Left in the afternoon towards wellington, basically a day of travelling. Went through a place called Tahape which is famous for gumboots we know that as willies, they have a contest each year in who can throw the furthest gumboot. Day 8 Taupo to river valley Was back on the kiwi bus with a new driver called Mangee. We stopped off at a volcanic park and saw mount doom, another place where parts of the lord of the rings was filmed. Day 6 Taupo Didn't do much apart from a skydive on the last day here. the weather had been a little dull to start with but by Tuesday our last day it was a perfect day, sun was shining and a blue sky. Day 5 - Rotorua to TaupoToday we had Gary another driver who drove us to Taupo. We set off to Taupo stopped a few locations that were quite impressive.
