We got up early and left Ipoh, found the bus station and brought tickets to Malacca which to around 6 hours to get to.

Ended up staying in Malacca for 4 nights, in two different hostels, the first one was shabby so moved to another one, where I got bitten really badly, all my legs had these odd looking spots and the itched like crazy.

Malacca is an old Dutch/Portuguese style town, lots of great architecture, spent a lot of the 4 days walking around, china town, little India, did a boat trip round Malacca and of course shopping.

Also met some weird people at the hostel, one guy had lice, i only found out the day before we were leaving and made sure I kept my distance from him.
Then there was this weird woman who had fever and there was speculations that she may have dengue fever, but she refused to go to hospital, was so glad that Daria and i left the next morning.
