Ok right - we have a little more time to write some more! We are in an Internet Cafe in Melbourne by St Kilda's Beach - the weather is gorgeous (i told you mum i didnt need any warm clothes!) We have actually just been sitting near the beach chilling out! we went to this place called luna park - and went on a ride that was HORRIBLE - i think we were actually suspended in the air for like 10 minutes... well i guess that is an exaggeration but it was pretty bad (this place is actually for kids btw!). The hostel last night was really nice. We had a room to ourselves and everything was really clean! We went to the Aussie Rules match - omg it was so good! i think nearly EVERYBODY in the whole of Melbourne went - so we obviously made the right choice there! It was a really good atmosphere... there was this band playing outside the stadium 'when the saints come marching in' because the match was St Kilda's vs West Coast Eagles and everybody was really friendly to each other which makes a change from England! the match lasted for aaaages though - it stopped after 1/2hr and that was only a 1/4 through! didnt really understand what was going on - didnt seem to be many rules actually! anything goes in australian football! but hot men running around in shorts was bound to keep us entertained for an evening!

This morning we had to go back to the main railway station and try to sort out tickets for 2nite out. this guy finally sorted us out - but in the process told us all about the history of the electronic car ...for about half an hour...but we succesfully managed a quick getaway before he started on extremist religious groups! So this means we are travelling to Sydney overnight tonight so we will be in Sydney for birthday partying! we are thinking of doing a skydive on one of these days! the hostels look really cool - lots of stuff going on etc and we are currently trying to book one for 2m evening.

Should really go now. Can't believe we have nearly finished our stay in Melbourne. We both really love it here! Feels like we've been here for aaaaaages! Sorry there is still a lack of photos - we don't have our leads on us... will post some soon promise.
