Hello everyone - just a quick note to say that we arrived safely! The flight was very long/boring and we weren't allowed out at Dubai airport so had to hang around there for 3 hours... Anyway, we are currently in Melbourne. Haven't slept yet but have visited the Botanical Gardens (which were gorgeous), Federation Square, Captain Cook's house (the original taken from the BORO which Katy was very excited about), the National Memorial, the Government House, the Immigration Museum, and the Observation Deck (tallest building in Southern Hemisphere!)

We are going to have a little rest now before going to the Aussie Rules game. We tried to get on the Neighbours tour for 2m but it was booked out :( still got complications about sorting out our train pass which we have to sort out unfortunately. OTHERWISE having an AWESOME time! The hostel is actually a hotel and we have our own room when we thought we were staying with 4 other people! Melbourne is really beautiful but there are hardly any people walking around - the only people we bumped into this morning were English!
