heey! we'v just done a skydive!!!!!!!!!! 14000 feet!!!!! was AWESOME!!!!!! the best thing EVER!

Anyways, just to skip back though to Magnetic Island.. Had to get the ferry over from Townsville and then stayed at Magnums hostel. Was ok apart from when we got there, we were in a 10 person room and there were about 6 extra bags in there and seemed to be no spare beds! these guys were hoping to stay an extra night without paying .. they were a bit weird.. there just seemed to be loads of them! and these girls who thought that me and katy were lesbians. weirdos. AND there were bedbugs in the bed - i actually saw them crawling. gross. Anyways, Magnetic Island was really chilled. There isnt really that much to do there but we rented a car out - as you can see on the pictures! barbiemobile. was sooo much fun cruising around! we had it for 24 hours aswell... although we actually ended up going over our limit and paying a little extra. oops. the most random thing happened though - we were going down to this place where you can do this walk and see koalas and we started walking up the track and guess who we bumped into ... chris leach!?! (someone from uni for those of you thinking who?!) how RANDOM! this off beat path on the other side of the world and we run into someone we know! so that was really cool and we met up with him for lunch the next day and stuff. Although we had to go back the next day for the walk because it was too dark and we actually saw 2 wild koalas!!! the walk took like 2 hours ... no jokes. parents - are you proud?! it was trainers and everything! was really amazing just seeing them in the trees!

So we had a pretty relaxing time on Magnetic Island, went to the beach, had a swim etc...not really much going on in the evenings. Was sad also to say bye to people we had been spending time with. then we moved up to mission beach the other day for our skydive today! which was AMAZING as i said!
