Hiya

Today is our last day in Syndey and we both don't want to leave. Today were going on a ferry across the harbour to Manley beach and then were going to go to the Opera Bar (posh place down next the Opera house).

There's so much to say about Sydney but briefly on Monday night we stayed in the Hotel and slept sooooo well. We got up and went to breakfast which was amazing. We both ate so much (cereal, toast, crossiants, fuit, full english, pancakes and waffles). Then we had to carry our bags to the next hostel which is called Base. It looks really nice but there were 8 people in our room and it was really messy when we arrived.

After checking in we went shopping to the Queen Victoria building which is really pretty and has the massive hanging clock which does a show every half an hour. We didn't buy anything cause it was really expensive but we just had a wandered round.

As it was such a nice day we decided to go to Bondi beach and just relax seeing as though we had eaten so much. There were loads of people there and we watched the surfers and the lifeguard driving up and down in this little car thing. At about 4ish we got the bus to Wooloomooloo which is near Kings Cross. There is this really large wharf there with loads of restaurants and bars and next to it is this little place called Harrys Cafe de Wheels which is famous across Australia. It has been there since the war and serves pie, mash and mushy peas all day and night for $7. There are pictures up inside off all the celebrities which have been there but Russell Crow apparently stormed off so he''s not up there.

After dinner we went back to the hostel and got changed and went to the quiz they have in the adjoining bar every weekend. We meet some girls from Italy and Germany and ended up coming 3rd which meant we got free shots of Sambuca which were really disgusting.

Had quite a early night although it was difficult to sleep with so many people in the room. Off up the coast to surf camp tomorrow which should be a laugh.
