hey guys! Seems like we only just wrote a blog but there is already so much to say! We have done our Fraser Island trip, was so much fun! We arrived at the hostel on Thursday night and we're practically dreading the trip because it was pouring with rain and we met this girl in the shower who said that she had come back early because she had had the worst time of her life because of the weather and the people she was with! Didn't help that the hostel was absolutely horrible - the worst yet! So anyway we had our meeting at 6pm with everybody who was going and we were checking out the people to try and see who would be the best to try and get in a group with!! We had a bit of a panic when we thought going on saturday would be better so we offered to swap but then saw the people we would be going with and hastily tried to change our mind which was slightly embarrasssing because it was worth it because we got a really good group. so we had to set off early the next day and picked up the 4x4 and luckily we had lots of boys who knew all about the car stuff and were willing to drive it! the roads were pretty dangerous though... very bumpy in the back that's for sure! we had everything - tents, food etc and just basically had the Island to explore for ourselves! Lake McKensie was amazing - sooo beautiful and the water was so clear. we spent some time there and then set up camp and cooked some food and had a few drinks etc... we didnt really stick to the schedule to be honest but it was so much fun and everyone in our group got on really well! Lots of dingo hassle - especially when katy just lept in the van and left me fending them off for myself in the dark!!!

Anyway,was a beautiful place but sand literally got everywhere... i think im still emptying my ears ...so we were thankful of a shower when we got back to the hostel... after narrowly escaping a fine because we drove in salt water when we weren't supposed to! Getting the bus tonight to go to Airlie Beach - sorry got to go now because the time is running out!
