Today was out last day in Chiang Mai and I am genuinely sad to be leaving. It's been a lovely place to stay, even if it has rained so much our hands look like we have spent too long in the bath. Today we went to suthep doi which is up in the mountains looking over Chiang Mai. It was fairly spectacular. All very gold. Also it had views of Chiang mai. We also planned to have do a monk chat, to generally find out how they live etc, however when we got their we found out it was closed which was a shame. We then got a sleeper train out of Chiang mai and heading south towards ayuttaha, which sits just further north of Bangkok.
