Today we went on a trip to Phillip Island to see the penguins. We stopped off at a wildlife park on the way where we had the chance to feed kangaroos and see koalas and lots of other animals. The kangaroos were really friendly but that's probably because we had food. Afterwards we headed to Swan lake, and a beautiful beach, which was deserted because it's chilly in Melbourne! We then headed to noobies bay and took some fantastic photos. Our last stop was penguin parade. We passed the Phillip island grand prix circuit on the way.
The penguin parade was rather sweet. Hundreds in tiny penguins coming from out of the big sea and waddling across the beach into their little nest! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen and such a lovely experience to watch. We are heading to Sydney tomorrow, we're looking forward to seeing the Opera house! :o)
