Happy early Halloween. Last night was a deadly time. I was a zombie ballerina in the company of a couple of vampires, tank girl, Snow White and David Cassidy (maybe still iffy about that). Our mission of Halloween debauchery was quite successful, we began the evening at tank girls house she shares with her lover Cassidy(?), by ingesting our poison of choice and lots of laughing. When everyone was satisfied with their gore level, well actually cuteness level, present company excluded, we set off for the Halloween party. It was a fun walk with almost everyone out in costumes, it's the night when you can lose your inhibitions and just be free. The party was a good time with some very creative costumes, Judge Dreads who wore a judges gown and a dreadlocked wig, and some played out standards, yes I'm talking about you skimpily dressed cat ear girl. After a couple of hours it was time to party hop. When everyone was collected and a cramped cab ride we ended up at a great little artists venue. It was a great time meeting new people with some really great ideals about random acts of kindness and paying it forward. I really enjoy adding to my karmic piggy bank by buying strangers their cup of coffee or something of that nature. When the sun arose it was time for all creatures to rest and thus the conclusion to a wonderful celebration of a fun holiday!!
