The night boat from Koh Tao to Krabi Town was horrendous!! The worst trip so far. We were packed in like sardines below deck with no fans and right next to the boiling hot and very loud engine. Literally looked like we were on a boat from the slave trade- utterly horrible! No sleep, just sweaty bodies crammed in next to each other!

But once in Krabi Town we enjoyed it, it's really nice to be back somewhere that isn't totally westernised and you get to see the proper Thai way of life. We took a trip to the bat cave which also had descriptions and findings of ancestors living there millions of years ago. We spotted an Iguana on a tree and later visited the night market which was good to walk around, especially seeing the locals buying packets of fried insects off the street vendors- crickets, beetles, stick insects... not for us thanks!
