We'd had another very cold night. When we left Glen Helen after brekky the weather was very overcast. We first of all had to drive back to Alice Springs which took about an hour and a half. After brekky we went to explore Ormiston Gorge. The weather wasn't as hot today and there was some cloud cover. Perfect conditions for a bit of walking. We went on a short walk first of all to look at the Gorge itself. It was very dramatic with high sides towering above the water hole. After this we set off on the longer Ormiston Pound Walk. We got up very early this morning as we had to be at the garage at 8 and we didn't want to suffer the wrath of the rottweiler.
