It had rained most of the night and when our alarm went off it was still raining. It was another bad day to see the sun rise over the rock so we went back to sleep. We had heard the rain tinkling on the camper’s roof during the night. We had set our alarm for half five with the intention of getting up and going to watch the sun rise over Uluru. When we looked outside, although the rain had stopped, the sky was still completely clouded over. We had a lie in this morning. When we emerged from under our warm covers the cold night was turning into a hot day. The sky was a clear blue and another prefect day for seeing Uluru at it's best.
