The sickness is upon us…and spreading fast! A few of us have taken a couple days to rest as we caught a bug coming from Nepal. Our flight to Bangkok was going smoothly, until we found out the airline lost our luggage…again! Our positive attitude keeps us sane, as we wait for the luggage to return. Meanwhile, our first few days in Bangkok have been incredible! We walked around the city and finally got Jeff what he has been craving for weeks…McDonalds! After annihilating a few McCombo's, we set up our next few days. The day began with a trip to the floating market. A new spectacle for our eyes as we dove right in, buying an array of fruits, gifts and spices. Jeff found an unusual pleasure in bargaining but seemed to come up on the losing side! We had a delicious Thai lunch and made way to our second destination, a museum dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the Burmese war. The well anticipated final destination was the Thailand Tiger Temple, home to over a dozen full grown tigers. These creatures were calm but still very dangerous and we were lucky enough to watch them play in their own environment. One of the most feared animals on this planet, we got to see them front and centre. Tomorrow we leave Bangkok with Chiang Mai in our sights. We got our luggage back once again, moving forward and not looking back!
