Early the next morning we were driven three hours through the mountains, arriving at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve game sanctuary. All of us jumped on a bus and took a safari through the jungle for less than one Canadian dollar. Going in with high expectations to see wildlife, the safari definitely delivered, with bison, barking deer and elephants. Our next adventure took us by train and bus to the capital of the province Kerala, Cochin. We booked a private houseboat and cruised along the back waters of Kumarakom. Heading back to Coonoor by train and bus where we met Srimathi, the lady that helped make our trip to India possible. We ended our time in the Nilgiris with a trip to her home for disabled children, where Dan and Matt played their guitars and watched the smiles of the children illuminate the room. Our final day in India took us on an overnight train to Chennai, seeing as much as we could in a day, we find ourselves preparing for our flight to Kathmandu tomorrow morning. Our wolfpack is building from four to five, meeting up with Jeff and continuing our journey.
