I managed to get a really good sleep and after getting up early I decided to go back to bed for a few hours. When I finally got up I headed straight into the city to use the Internet and try workout my next move. I am still tossing up whether to head back to Ecuador - preferably along the coast for some warmer weather or head to Huaraz a famous city in the North of Peru known for hiking, ice climbing and extreme sports. I found a few volunteer opportunities in Huaraz so I sent out a few emails in the hope of hearing something soon. At 12 I had to be out of my accommodation which still had no running water so it was time to find a new place. I managed to find a place just down the road, much nicer, running water and Internet but the price was much higher however the guy gave it to me for $7 a night the same as I had paid for lastnights place. First thing I did was have a shower - a cold one but after 3 days with no shower this was luxury. I then headed into the city again in the hope of finding some bus schedules to the nth and sth of Peru - I walked around for hours and had little luck. On the way back I picked up another roast chicken for just over $3 and 5 avocado for 40 cents - I didn't want so many but the guy was so kind giving me different ones to try. In the evening I managed to Skype my Mum which was a nice treat and sent a few prospective emails out. I am half thinking I might stay another night here rather then make a rash decision with my travel movements.
